Time Management? Ha
So lately I have been noticing that I have been having a hard time with time management. I forget to do a simple thing that reflects back on my grade. Sometimes it just makes me feel so dumb because I cannot keep things straight, but then I realize that I know that I am not the only person that is having these problems. As I look around my classrooms there is a plethora of people that are having just as much trouble if not more. I have a lot going for me. So why can't I keep this school thing straight. I guess it is something that I am going to have to start working on. I get the hang of it sometime. I love college and I want to do well and that is one of the ways to do so.

Thinking Class Gaps
When you are in college you have the leisure of deciding when you have classes and you can fit it to almost any schedule that you have. Well sometimes classes have a gap in between each other for the ones that you need. I am no exclusion to this phenomenon. I have a gap of an hour and twenty minutes between my two classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and let me just say that if you don't have homework you are going to bored out of your mind. Sure I could drive back to my house and just sit around but then I would be wasting gas and all of us know that gas prices are not going to be going down anytime soon. So I sit in the center lounge in the college building and just try to find things to keep myself busy. Always ending up on social networking websites reading about the lives of all of my friends, family, and even just acquaintances. Sometimes this makes me wish that I was them because some if them don't have a worry in the world and they can do pretty much whatever they want whenever they want without having to worry about school, work, or family problems. Or at least that is what they make it seem like. I am a person that silently scrolls through my news feeds and thinking what my life would be like if I did this thing that someone else has done or that. But them I think back to what I am doing. I am going to school to better my future so that maybe when I am old enough to retire I can have enough money to do things such as travel and not have to worry about work. I am also going to work regularly to save money to make it possible for me to attend college. My parents are not made of money and I don't expect them to pay for everything for the rest of my life. So a job and school make up my life as of right now in hopes for a better future. One where I can do anything that I want to and accomplish the dreams that I have. I think that is what most people are looking for. So don't give up on your dreams and keep working towards them. You can do anything that you set your mind to.

First Week..
Well, This week was the official first week back to college for my second year. I am no longer at the institution that had originally thought I would complete my college career. A community college is where I am currently enrolled and I couldn't be happier. I have saved a lot of money this year by attending this school instead of a large university. but there is one thing that every college student has to deal with that hit me really hard. I had to pay nearly $800 for books for only four classes. That is about $200 per class. They say that it is so important to get a college education to get far in life but now it is becoming more and more clear to me why so many students are beginning to drop out of college because they can no longer afford to attend even with help of the government and scholarships. If I were to give young students in the start of their high school career some advice it would be to start saving your money so that you are able to attend college without a worry of not having enough many to continue to pursue your dream. You should never have to give a dream just because you can't afford it. You can do anything that you set your mind to. Life throws us all for loops, you're not alone in any struggles. Keep your head held high and do your best. Show the world what you are made of! To all my friends that are also headed back to college this semester, "We have made it this far, Let's keep going!"
