Thinking Class Gaps

When you are in college you have the leisure of deciding when you have classes and you can fit it to almost any schedule that you have. Well sometimes classes have a gap in between each other for the ones that you need. I am no exclusion to this phenomenon. I have a gap of an hour and twenty minutes between my two classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and let me just say that if you don't have homework you are going to bored out of your mind. Sure I could drive back to my house and just sit around but then I would be wasting gas and all of us know that gas prices are not going to be going down anytime soon. So I sit in the center lounge in the college building and just try to find things to keep myself busy. Always ending up on social networking websites reading about the lives of all of my friends, family, and even just acquaintances. Sometimes this makes me wish that I was them because some if them don't have a worry in the world and they can do pretty much whatever they want whenever they want without having to worry about school, work, or family problems. Or at least that is what they make it seem like. I am a person that silently scrolls through my news feeds and thinking what my life would be like if I did this thing that someone else has done or that. But them I think back to what I am doing. I am going to school to better my future so that maybe when I am old enough to retire I can have enough money to do things such as travel and not have to worry about work. I am also going to work regularly to save money to make it possible for me to attend college. My parents are not made of money and I don't expect them to pay for everything for the rest of my life. So a job and school make up my life as of right now in hopes for a better future. One where I can do anything that I want to and accomplish the dreams that I have. I think that is what most people are looking for. So don't give up on your dreams and keep working towards them. You can do anything that you set your mind to.
